Origin: South America

Size: 3-5 cm depending on species

Diet: Algae, some vegetables, algae wafers

Overview: Otocinclus, or Oto are fantastic fish to keep, very active, very hard working. Hard to breed so mostly wildly caught, they are found in schools of thousands. You will often find them ‘stuck’ on your glass, or plant leaves, any hardscape really. They love plants, stones and wood so make sure you provide that if you can.
